I was born in Lisbon on June 28th, 1982.

In 2012 I graduated in Language Sciences at University of Lisbon, and I finished my Master’s Degree in Portuguese Linguistics in the same institution at 2016. I am developing my research on prosodic phonology, language variation, language acquisition and development, and language disorders.

Before I started my PhD I worked as a researcher at Laboratory of Phonetics of Centre of Linguistics of the University of Lisbon in the project Interactive Atlas of the Prosody of Portuguese. This project focuses on prosodic variation in Portuguese (phrasing, intonation, rhythm and stress). I was also a research assistant at Instituto de Medicina Molecular da Universidade de Lisboa (IMM). I was a team member of the project Dysarthria in Parkinson's disease: Lusophony vs. Francophony (FraLusoPark). Our work was focused on examining the impact of Parkinson disease on the structural properties of prosody involved in the expression of sentence modality and speech chunking.
